Join us for our monthly Brampton Arts Organization Open Studio+. Make the BAO office your studio once a month from noon to 8:00 PM!
Why +
because it's more than just an open studio. In addition to creating a space for community to gather, share work and support each other, we will also be hosting skill-building workshops during each Open Studio +.
+ is ...
A space to foster creativity and encourage experimentation in an atmosphere of exchange, conversation, and support.
A place to encounter fellow creatives and learn about their work and practice.
A chance to find future collaborators or reconnect with old friends.
A studio to work on your own in-progress pieces and be inspired by someone else’s project.
An opportunity to learn new skills and explore different art practices and tools
Most importantly, Open Studio + is FREE to attend and open to all skill levels.
Bring your own works in progress or just drop in and use our art supplies and material to start a new project, find inspiration in our Community Library, use our photo studio or recording studio.

Featured Workshop: Community Printmaking from 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Join local artist Shannon Moynagh for an evening of community printmaking! After a quick introduction to relief printmaking, Shannon will show you how to carve a stamp using softcut linoleum and then how to print this stamp as an edition.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to make a print to take home using her large collection of hand-carved stamps. Everyone will also participate in the creation of a community print mural, building up stamp prints collage-style to make a larger composition.
You won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to experience the magic of communal printmaking.
